As the saying goes “There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow.” Most of us, the younger generation of present focus on “today” more than “tomorrow,” which in some cases is true because tomorrow isn’t always guaranteed. but living your life to the fullest means being all that you can be and striving to accomplish the most of what you can in the future.
I feel that the generation of today is simply lazy addicted to video games, television, and many other electronic devices. We always find an easy way for everything we do. We don’t challenge ourselves to think anymore, technology does it for us. There is a need for hard work and determination among us. Todays sweat waters tomorrow’s garden. Hard work is definitely the key to success. It teaches us discipline, dedication and determination.
One of the main reasons why man has been greatly successful in conquering all heights of success is that the ability he has to think and act-accordingly. Self-motivation is a strong force that distinguished him from the other animals. Most of the times, we keep on reviving old memories. We think what I could have done better than what I have achieved today. Thinking about past wont rewind time. Whatever is lost is in fact is lost forever. All we need to do is motivate ourselves so that we can give a big shot in the future. Self-motivation is the need of the hour. Our goals must be clear and the guidelines must be flexible.
We have to go through a lot of things throughout our life of which some will be bad and some will be good. How we face it is all that matters. At times, it may be just a personal achievement that could open before us the paths of glory and success. We live in a world with hate, envy, and evil, but we also live in a world with endless love, passion, and hope. In this hopeful world, our expectations have grown. We have anticipation about the future that we are going to have, and in all honesty, many do not have hope that we will have a better future, but that doesn’t mean we can’t try. Though times currently seem to be awful, we are living in one of the best times ever. We are now living in a time where equality and acceptance are pretty much everywhere. I believe that in the future, it’s not going to matter what makes us different.
Building a better future starts with education reform. Education contributes to a peaceful and a safe future by grooming an entire generation in terms of etiquette and emotions. The amount of Education you have directly affects your economic prosperity. It opens doors to brilliant career opportunities and ultimately builds our confidence on decision making, our life choices, and how to accept successes and failures. Formal education help us decide where we want to go, and what we want to be.
Tomorrow is an unexplored entity. Time just flies, whether good or tough. One will always hope for the better and the best, as hope for a better tomorrow is all that sustains when nothing else does. It might happen that when tomorrow becomes today, nothing exactly goes right. But that’s where the concept of tomorrow, rather the idea of a better tomorrow shines. Tomorrow is thus is as soothing as hope.
